We have had our house for 9 years now - we bought it a year after we'd been married. We love our house, it fits us well. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and dining area. We picked our house because one of our extra bedrooms has a fantastic window at the front of our house, and we thought it would be a great room for our foosball table. Okay, so that wasn't the only reason, but it was a big influence.
That room is our study/game room. Our second bedroom is Abby's room. Abby will share this room for a time with her little brother or sister once she has one to share with (and she is very good at sharing). We have a decent sized backyard with plenty of space for children to play. We also have fruit trees, an herb garden, and a vegetable garden.
We have fantastic neighbors - we feel so blessed. We are all looking out for each other and helping out. There are lots of children in our neighborhood, it is very family friendly. We also live essentially across the street from an elementary school, which is very convenient.
